My Host is You
6-17 maj

”The body snatcher, the sucker, the storyteller landing you a poor deal, the jester, the parasite, the deadbeat appears on your doorstep at sundown and invites herself to dinner. You are hospitable and let her sit down next to you.”

English:

Erik Hällman (b. 1987 in Hedemora) lives and works in Copenhagen, and received his MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts 2020. His practice is driven by an interest in seeing what happens when there is an accumulation of expressions with unclear intent mixed with specific and meaningful content.

Unn Aurell Hansson (b. 1990 in Gothenburg) is educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and lives and works in Copenhagen. She works with several different media in narrative works, which often are based on real people's stories, which in her work take on new contexts and meanings. In mixed fiction and reality, she examines relationships and dynamics in the public sphere, and areas where the private and the public merge.

Andreas Bardenfleth Hatt (b. 1990) Lives and works everywhere. Student at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His practice can be placed somewhere between poetic research in and around the communicative potential of materials and their surroundings, and subtle interventions in public and private spaces. In his work he explores the elusive and understated with a distanced and reflective outlook. Through protracted conceptual processes he develops personal, intimate structures which require slow attention and perceptual intensity from the viewer.

The exhibition is supported by Kulturrådet, Stockholms Stad, Region Stockholm, Direktør Michael Hermann Nielsens Mindelegat and Fondet for Dansk-Svensk Samarbejde.
